Playa De Piñones
One of Puerto Rico’s most laidback beaches, this family-friendly spot right next to Isla Verde is just a short drive from San Juan. Loiza’s strong connection to its historical and cultural Afro-Caribbean heritage is just one of the many reason to visit — especially if you are a foodie. Kiosks serving the traditional fried dishes are aplenty. The town is also rumored to have been named in honor of one of only two female Taino chiefs to have ever existed.
