Cara Del Indio
This monumental rock carving alongside the highway on the west coast of the island welcomes visitors to Isabela. The face depicts the Cacique Mabodamaca, a Taino leader who protected his people from the Spaniards. Nearby, the Porta del Sol beach awaits. Isabela is also famous for its surfer-friendly beaches including Jobos and Middles — where the Corona Extra Pro Surf Circuit has previously been held.
