If there's one thing that everyone needs to do, it is to remove clutter from your home. Nothing messes up the vibes of your space (especially if it's a small one!) more than items that feel unnecessary. Sure, there are a few items that just need to be organized or stowed away. But there are a few pieces that you really just don't need in your home.

To help you get your home in shape, we reveal the one item that you don't need in the most important rooms of your home. Click ahead and find out what to send to Goodwill.

Bedroom

Lonny.

Although nothing is better than Netflix before falling asleep, you really shouldn't have a TV in your bedroom. Using electronics right before bed can mess up your circadian rhythm and give you lower quality of sleep every night. So if you feel tired all the time, move that screen and catch some proper zzz's.

If you have an oven in your home, there is no reason why you should take up precious counter space with a toaster oven. In fact, any appliance that doubles up in function should be tossed.

Do you have a bunch of novelty mugs and plates that don't match with anything else? While we love a mix of elevated dishware, a mug with a random promotional graphic that you got years ago at an event is another story.

Living Room

A living room is meant to be a space for lounging and bringing friends together. So why would you ever want to place an uncomfortable chair in there? We know that certain surfaces can create a really unique aesthetic, but if they aren't the most enjoyable to sit on, either add a cozy throw or pillow on top, or place it on the curb.

Bathroom

The bathroom is often times the smallest room in a home or apartment. While we admit that we do like to spend a lot of time getting ready in there, we also don't want any necessary space to be wasted. Unless your bathroom is absolutely ginormous, please don't put a chair in there. There's probably a 80% chance you won't use it and a 100% chance that it will always get in the way. If you need a seat, just put the toilet lid down.
