Orly Genger Installation in Madison Square Park

This morning, on the way to shoot our Personal Space feature for our May issue, we stumbled upon artist Orly Genger's incredible, Dr. Seuss–like installation Red, Yellow and Blue in Madison Square Park. Genger used 1.4 million feet of salvaged nautical ropes to create the three intricately hand-knotted pieces that weave throughout the park. The installation officially launches tomorrow and is on view through September 8. It then travels to Botson's deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in October.
