This week, Pinners directed the spotlight away from the star of the bedroom to congratulate the best supporting role: the bedside table. Without a functional flank to assist, a bed becomes an island void of at-hand access to library books, a note pad and pen, the framed pictures of our favorite faces and, of course, our iPhone. Plus, it's nearly impossible to balance a glass of water on a pillow. (I've tried.) Here are Lonny readers' favorite combos for bedroom bliss:
Designer Betsy Burnham has been known to effortlessly combine elements of chinoiserie, cheetah, and shaker into one cohesive home. The same holds true in this vignette of dark stained wood furniture dressed in a creamy monochrome palette, save for a vase of pink blooms.
Another beautiful example of a monochrome scheme: the light ash wood of this headboard and accent table pairs beautifully with a slubby linen duvet, waffle-knit comforter, and dove gray upholstery.
Leading the week with 125 repins is an arrangement by Kristan Cunningham and Scott Jarrell of LA-based design firm and interiors store Hammer and Spear. The duo makes the most of their bedside space by employing a wide wooden table with drawers, which can also function as a writing desk.
