The number one sign of a successful DIY would probably be that it doesn’t look homemade. Well, this rope basket by Amy Kim of Homey Oh My passes that test with flying colors. If anything, it appears to be artisan-made, or like something straight out of a Nordic-inspired boutique.
Of course, it’s not. In fact, the project requires a hot glue gun — one of the craftiest tools of them all. So, no need to learn any new skills here! The container is created by simply by coiling rope and employing a few of Amy’s helpful pointers.
Use the vessel on your desk, your shelf, the bathroom or really anywhere you need to stylishly store some odds and ends. And if you want to get away with even less coiling, just buy bigger rope. So easy.
