When you have no carpentry or welding skills to speak of, the prospect of creating cool furniture can seem out of reach. But, it can be done! Enter this table DIY by Stephanie Todaro for Emily Henderson. Combining copper and leather, (that’s woven, no less), the table is made of a lovely mix of materials — and it’s held together using simple connection pieces, grommets, and heavy-duty glue.

While Emily Henderson’s site has a helpful diagram for making a piece with the exact dimensions shown here, the instructions could also be adapted to create custom-size tables. There are so many uses for the finished product. We could see it as a chic side table, plant stand, or nightstand — and from the looks of it, it also makes a pretty chill lounge spot for the cat.
