Pared-down slatted wood soap dishes are a staple in spalike, modern-natural bathrooms—so we’re kind of blown away you can make them yourself using popsicle sticks. The DIY was conceived and executed by Timia Lewis of Exodus Treasures, and while it does require some measuring, it’s just as simple as you’d expect a popsicle-stick project to be.

If you’d like to darken the sticks a bit, Timia provides an economical, (in fact, nearly free) way to tint them. From there, you only have to grab a few easy-to-obtain materials, and then exercise some precision to create this handsome, well-draining dish. Head to Exodus Treasures and let the seven-step process begin.
