(Can you tell we're fans?) In honor of her 33rd birthday, we're investing more time than usual stalking her Instagram, scrolling through her tumblr, googling images of Blue Ivy, and building our collection of epic Beyonce gifs. But with fashion week in full swing, we thought it appropriate to celebrate the birthday girl's best red carpet looks, which happen to echo some of our chicest spaces.
To no one's surprise, Mrs. Carter owned the 2011 Met Ball paparazzi parade in an impeccably detailed black-and-gold Emilio Pucci gown. It reminded us of an equally detailed and ornate Marrakech bedroom of the same color palette and richness. And as if we didn't believe in the power of black and white already, our girl wowed us when she showed up to the 2013 Grammy's in an off-kilter Osman Studio black-and-white pant suit, instantly conjuring up images of the unexpected entryway in a timeless Park Avenue apartment. Need further proof that our Queen can pull off any look, anywhere? The mononymous star stole the Grammy's spotlight once again in a sheer Michael Costello ensemble with the intricacy of a woven, garden-evoking chandelier. How are you celebrating Bey Day?
