In the picturesque German Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, designer Leanne Ford took on the interiors revamp of Erin Crotty and Craig Kent's home, which dates from 1896, according to public records. Before Ford came on board, the family enlisted William Hugus Architects Ltd. for an extensive remodel.

The result? A gorgeous minimalist home with a seriously fresh aesthetic. The home may be historic, but these interiors are totally modern. Click ahead to see the transformed space.
