"I draw what's on my mind, and, post-election, it's all I could think about," explains Andrew. "As always, I tried to remain a safe haven for people online. I'm a natural and persistent optimist, and doom and gloom aren't really in my emotional landscape. I was just deeply sad and needed a way to express that for myself and for people who needed a soft place to land their eyes in a turbulent, nightmarish time."

"I felt pretty happy making my Women's March illustration," she says. "It gave me hope to make it, and it gave me hope to see how people responded to it — especially supportive men."
