Spring Cleaning Tip #22: Start From Top
Confused on where to start in each space? First, move all the items that do not belong into that particular room to the door sill so you can take them to their proper "homes" when you finish the room you are working on.

Always start from the highest points — like the shelves — and work your way down. Use a duster or a slightly damp cloth to remove dust. Next, polish everything to shine with a dry cloth.

If you happen to be in the bedroom, make the bed. And, if there is upholstery, go over it with the nozzle attachment on your vacuum. Finally, sweep or vacuum the floors. Then, add a little vase of fresh flowers as a final touch.
