House Rules
"Everyone has a different idea of what’s relaxing or what’s enjoyable for them, but I have a couple of rules, regardless of whatever your style is," says Scott.

"One: your room should not be a catchall for kids toys and storage. I even once had a client who used their bedroom to store bikes and workout equipment. That is not for the bedroom," he says.

"Two: It is not for working. The bedroom is for sleeping in and for… using your imagination in," Scott jokes. "It is not for working at all. Nothing would ruin a great sleep faster than that."

"The final thing is you want quality behind the environment you’re creating," he adds. "You don’t want it to be all cluttered. You don’t want to have your phone near your bed. You don’t want anything that will distract from a great sleep."
