Prepare to revamp your gallery wall because Block Shop has released its first collection of beautiful woodblock prints. You may already be aware of the creative duo, sisters Hopie and Lily Stockham, and their intricate, stamped textiles ranging from rugs to table runners. And their first foray into taking their geometric designs to paper has empty walls rejoicing.

The beautifully minimalistic designs are produced in collaboration with the same family-run studio located in Bagru, Rajasthan who carefully dye and stamp their textiles, and are a continuation of the blending of traditional Indian hand-block printing and paper-making in the region with modern forms. Each print is manually stamped on recycled cotton paper and the detailed designs reference the Art Deco architectural influence in Block Shop’s two home bases — Los Angeles and India.

Available framed in two different sizes, the prints can be purchased on Block Shop’s website or in-person at Rachel Comey’s Los Angeles location through this fall. With six delicate designs to choose from, you may find yourself finding space for more than one at home.
