Founded in LA in 2006, the label launched with a line of Made in the USA denim using selvedge fabric sourced from the Okayama region of Japan. Needless to say, no expense was spared in the production of the brand's latest offering, an indigo-dyed beach blanket created in collaboration with Montauk hotel The Surf Lodge. The blanket is block printed using hand-cut wood blocks in patterns that reference classic surf motifs, with plant-based indigo dyeing done by LA-based Noon Studio.
The blanket made its debut this past weekend at a dinner hosted by artist-in-residence Max Snow for Andre Saraiva's new exhibition "Dream Concerts," and is available in the hotel and in their online shop for $295 through the end of September.
