Spotlight: The Library of Philip Johnson

Last week, The Philip Johnson Glass House and Birch Books Conservation released The Library of Philip Johnson: Selections from the Glass House. Featuring an introduction by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern, the tome provides insight into the books, images, and ideas that inspired Johnson’s mid-century modern creations.

As fans of Johnson’s work, we highly encourage a visit to The Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. For our New England readers, it’s an easy drive (and a picturesque one at that). With a number of tours available, The Glass House offers more than 40 acres of inspiration in the forms of architecture, art, and interior design. Book fast; tours end for the season on November 30th!
