Exclusive Look at the IMG New York Fashion Week Lounge—Designed by Farrow & Ball!

This season, the IMG Lounge at the Lincoln Center tents—where fashion insiders go to relax, sip champagne and check their email between shows—gets a makeover courtesy of Farrow & Ball. Here's an exclusive first look at the space, designed by Farrow & Ball Creative Director Sarah Cole, as well as the sketches that got the project started and the DwellStudio furniture and accessories that complete the look.
How it all started: The vision for the lounge began to take shape with these detailed sketches—making note of everything from how long it will take the paint to dry, to the use of Stiffkey Blue (which you may have seen in our Fall Preview!)

The space has nautical-inspired tones mixed with bright hits of citrine yellow—both from Farrow & Ball's new collection, which launches on September 9. "We’ve used new colors Wevet and Stiffkey Blue to create a classic British backdrop to brighter accents in new colors Yellowcake, St Giles Blue, and Nancy’s Blushes. Navy is increasingly replacing black in both fashion and interiors and the use of soft hints of color-blocked neons combines the two trends seamlessly," says Cole.
