Considered "the most high-profile renovation project in America," the Kips Bay Decorator Show House certainly lives up to its name. The 10,000 square-foot Neo-Federal mansion is the perfect backdrop for the inspired and innovative work of over twenty top interior designers.
Originally owned by dipolmat and art connoisseur John Hay "Jock" Whitney, this Upper East Side mansion was famously re-decorated by Sister Parish as a retreat for the family. Now a showhouse, fully equipped with a Gentleman's Lounge, Stereo Lounge, and "Ode to Jock" Club Room, each space features a completely different and equally exciting aesthetic.
Located at 163 East 63rd Street, the Show House is open from April 28 - May 26. For a tour, click the arrow above or use your keypad to move through the gallery.
