While We Were Out: AERO
Last week, Lonny stopped by Thomas O’Brien’s Aero Studios for a sneak peek at its highly anticipated winter sale. Aero’s collection of vintage furnishings has made the shop a fixture of New York’s SoHo neighborhood for more than 20 years. Through March 2, many of its most popular items, including lighting fixtures, upholstered furnishings, tables, and bedding, are discounted for as much as 95 percent off their original prices.
Above, right: this pair of Gothic high-back side chairs, circa 1955, boasts a toned gesso finish with camel leather seats. Original price: $4,400 each. Now: $175 each.
