What's more Brooklyn than Brooklyn? Oakland, apparently. In a savvy marketing move, West Coast-based wilderness fragrance purveyor Juniper Ridge is establishing the brand's first retail experience in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, built by the architect Claudio Martonffy. Starting this Friday, October 11, new customers and brand fans alike will be treated to "live fragrance distillations on the street using plants Juniper Ridge has foraged and flown in directly from the California mountains." Sounds amazing, right?
The pop-up will host the line's full range, which includes scents inspired by Big Sur, Topanga Canyon, and even Death Valley, all extracted from foraged plants using a whiskey still. They'll also be debuting their new line of backpacker's colognes, due for release on October 15. The shop, located at 101 North 8th St (between Wythe and Berry), will be open Monday through Friday from 12-8pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 10am-6pm, through December 21.
