Designer Jaime Hayon and Fritz Hansen Made a Beautiful Chair Together

(Photo courtesy Fritz Hansen)"Time is of the essence" is the adage informing Fritz Hansen's new chair, Ro, produced in collaboration with designer Jaime Hayon. A modern spin on the classic easy chair, the name means tranquility in Danish and is meant to encapsulate easygoing elegance.

The chair made its debut this Spring at Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2013. The company calls it a "1 1/2 seater," perfect for getting cozy with a loved one or stretching out with a newspaper.

The Ro comes in 9 different colorways and is available this September.
