A Smart Couch That Will Change Everything
Burrow's new design lets you lounge and charge.
Ready for the couch of the future? Enter Burrow. The direct-to-consumer furniture company just released their first piece and it's going to change the way you approach couch shopping. The modular, luxury couch features a lightweight and easy-to-assemble frame that arrives in three to five shipping boxes. AKA you can move it into your home without any serious heavy lifting. Plus, assembly should only take 10 minutes. Um, yes please.
Another amazing part of the couch? It is tech enabled with a power outlet to keep your devices charged while your lounging. So no more dealing with wires, getting separated from your phone, or speed working until your computer dies.
Co-founders Stephen Kuhl and Kabeer Chopra came up with the idea when they couldn't find a reasonably priced couch that worked with the modern on-the-move lifestyle. “We decided to create Burrow when we saw our friends paying to have someone physically cut apart couches in order to get them up a narrow New York apartment stairway,” said Stephen Kuhl, co-founder of Burrow. “Burrow helps eliminate the pain points of purchasing a couch and is specifically designed to evolve with you as your life evolves.”
To help with the evolution, designer Leah K.S. Amick created a base that begins as a two-seater, but can easily expand up to six seats with the purchase of additional pieces. Plus, the cushions are made of high-density foam core to ensure that they hold their shape over time and the chemical-free (but still soft!) upholstery is naturally stain resistant. So any accidental spills while binging your fave shows won't be a problem. If you want to make your life 100% easier, we suggest giving Burrow a try. After all, you can get a 100 day free trial!
