While we all love flowers in our homes, sending blooms that feel modern and fresh can be a pain. Either you have to make your way down to a florist, hope they have a great selection, then pay an additional charge for delivery, or  you can order from a generic website where you never can be sure about the quality. Hoping to make the flower buying experience easier and more transparent, Whitney Port and her business partner Laurenne Resnik decided to change up the process with Bloom2Bloom.

“We created Bloom2Bloom to revolutionize the flower industry by providing modern and stylish bouquets that come directly to you from local flower farmers we have developed great friendships with over the past few years,” said Port. “Our aim is to truly be the first fashion-forward flower brand and the timing of our launch was strategic - spring is coming!” Resnik adds, “Our aim is to make flowers not just a luxury item but a feel-good item from everyday life.”

Not only is Bloom2Bloom hoping to make the process easier, but to also commit to conducting ethical business practices. “We focus on locally grown U.S. flower farms and providing our customers fresh, stunning, sustainably grown flowers,” says Resnik. Not only does the brand have a collection of gorgeous bouquets you can send to your faves (or yourself), they also carry cute potted succulents for those of you with a not-so-green thumb.

“Additionally, it was very important for us as a brand to give back and to be involved in our local community. In order to do that, with every purchase of a Bloom2Bloom bouquet, we donate a portion of the proceeds to Wish Upon a Teen, an amazing charity that supports chronically or terminally ill teenagers.” Beautiful flowers and a good cause? Now this sounds like something we can get behind.
