Danish Artists Take Center Stage at L.A.'s HURRA! Pop-Up Shop

Do you believe in serendipity? I do—at least when it comes to shopping. What else could you call it when you're on vacation, navigating a foreign design district with your Intellegentsia iced latte in one hand and your iPhone in the other, when suddenly you come across a pop-up shop showcasing the best of Danish art, design and culture? I'm telling you, it's "shoppendipity."

is the name of the store, and whether or not you believe it was fate that brought us together, you do (unfortunately) have only one more week to stop by this beautiful Los Angeles gallery-slash-boutique.

Highlighting the work of 39 Danish artists—as well as notebooks, blankets, tea cups, and even ceramic ghosts—HURRA! is a vision of whitewashed serenity. You'll want to move in, but, alas, they won't let you—trust me, I asked. I stopped by twice in one afternoon: by myself to do some serious shopping and then once again with a friend in tow (it's that good). So hurry to HURRA! 1301 Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Los Angeles 90291. Open through February 27, 12-6pm daily.
