IKEA Teaches Us How To Make Game Of Thrones Costume — Wins Internet
VINTER is coming.
Over at Lonny, Game of Thrones is the first topic of conversation every Monday morning. So when we found out the fur capes donned by Jon Snow and crew were actually IKEA sheepskin rugs, we kinda freaked out. Now, the home brand has fulfilled our dreams and gave us a DIY to help us take on winter (and Halloween).
IKEA just dropped a breakdown of how to make your own Game of Thrones cape in the style of its normal furniture assembly instructions. Called "VINTER skuldervarmer," the furry fashion is simply a SKOLD sheepskin with a lollipop shape cut through the center. So make a trip to IKEA, pick up a fur, and get decked out as the King of the North for your next viewing party. *Valerian steel sword and Kit Harrington's enviable locks are not included.
