Chrissy Teigen And Target Are Cooking Up A Collab
The kitchenware collection we've been craving.
Target announced on its Instagram story today — with help from their mascot Bullseye and Teigen herself — that the cookbook author is taking on a whole new role in the kitchen. Together, the food aficionado and Target have designed a new kitchen and tabletop collection, Cravings by Chrissy Teigen.
The new line is set to debut in stores and online on September 30, and will feature the kitchen necessities Teigen uses herself to whip up her favorite recipes. What exactly does this entail? Target mentioned glassware, cast-iron dutch ovens, pitchers, cutlery, serveware, and other kitchen essentials. The collection brings style and bare necessities together, staying true to Target's brand-accessibility by offering over 40 items to choose from at a reasonable cost (think $4 drinkware and a $140 12-piece cookware set).
So, why did the social media queen decide to take on kitchenware? "I’ve always wanted people to love what they’ve cooked from my books," Teigen tells Target. "Creating a collection was a natural extension of my passion for food, and I am so excited for everyone to be proud of and truly love their kitchen and tools."
Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, expands on his excitement around the collaboration, stating, “We know our guests will be excited to see Chrissy branch out with the launch of her new collection, and we are thrilled to be the exclusive retailer for Cravings by Chrissy Teigen.”
The model's cookbooks are best-sellers at Target, so it comes as no surprise that the retailer took this collection to the next level by also including an exclusive edition of Teigen's Cravings: Hungry for More. This version is full of exclusive recipes for seriously good snacks, and arrives both on the shelves and online September 18.
Stay tuned for a full look at Teigen's entire collection of cooking tools and serveware. We're thinking this is a collection that our kitchens can't live without.
