Designers Nathan Turner and Mary McDonald Take the Philippines

Our favorite design BFFs share snapshots of their getaway to DEDON Island Resort.

Some things are just better in twos—take interior designers Nathan Turner and Mary McDonald. The interior-savvy BFFs are oft Instagrammed slumming it in Malibu or traveling to beautiful corners of the world together. Just this past week the two Million Dollar Decorators shared photos of a far-flung getaway to DEDON Island Resort, a remote getaway that was featured in Lonny a few summers back. The brainchild of luxury outdoor furniture designer Bobby Dekeyser, DEDON provides one big tropical, lust-inducing photo-op after the other.

The two struck a pose inside a hanging nest chair, one of the resort's most recognizable features, which sway along the sandy beaches of the Philippine Sea, not too far from a sweet morning breakfast spot on a palm shaded lawn. When not frolicking throughout the lush grounds, the twosome reveled in the resort's Southeast Asian heritage, from the multi-story thatched structures to an intricately hand-carved wooden headboard. We can't wait to see what luxurious locale they head off to next.
