Let's not talk about that infamous onstage wardrobe malfunction. When it comes to Lenny Kravitz, there are much more fascinating topics at hand—like his upcoming home-decor collaboration with CB2, debuting online and in stores on October 1st. The first-ever furniture line from Kravitz Design, whose projects have included sleek South Beach penthouses and the set for The Queen Latifah Show, captures the spirit of the '70s in a way only Lenny could pull off—think Halston nights at Studio 54–meets–Kate Hudson as Cameron Crowe's muse. What does that mean in terms of home decor? Slick metallic finishes and sensual textures such as sheepskin and leather; groovy textiles, including shag rugs and boho-print pillows; and party-ready pieces like a cocktail table with a removable tray top that reveals bar storage underneath.

"Our goal was to create a collection of pieces based on my personal style and the things that have inspired me throughout my travels," says Kravitz, who plans to use pieces in his future design projects, as well as his homes in the Bahamas and Brazil. And just like that, CB2 shot straight to the top of my fall home-decor shopping list.
