Moroccan Blue
Creede's architect, Bercy Chen, was also largely inspired by the late Yves Saint Laurant's Moroccan home, Jardin Majorelle. The Marrakech destination is painted a bright blue, a hue that is very difficult to replicate.

"It's such an intensely vibrant blue, and we spent quite a bit of time looking through paint swatches," explained Creede. "We finally found Dri Kolor. They had an entire array of really nerdy colors and series, and they present a new way of making paint. You buy a gallon of white paint and mix it with dry pigment. That's how we finally found the right blue."
