“I’m not a huge fan on New Years Resolutions. I know it’s on everybody’s mind right now, but I think people should be able to make the decision to quit whenever they want to and whenever they feel that they can stick to it,” says Berkus.

“I made a decision for myself that my health was more important than the habit. I noticed that I was making all these changes in life—eating differently, exercising differently, working out differently—and knew that I was planning on having a family. That was the moment for me, a little over four years ago now, that smoking was just not going to be part of that story.”
