The retailer’s new Magnus Chair is available in a vivid variety of stains and painted finishes, while its traditional French Café Chair also boasts new color options. Both of these reasonably priced accent pieces are part of Restoration Hardware’s expanded Big Style, Small Spaces Collection. T 2 his year, Century Furniture—a gold standard in the field of luxury home goods—celebrates its 65th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the company has relaunched Chin Hua, a beloved, Asian-inspired line that first premiered in 1975 and was produced for an unprecedented 23 years. “For our current collection, we wanted a nod back to the past,” says Comer Wear, Century’s director of marketing, “but also [to] create a collection that is very current and fresh.” Indeed, today’s Chin Hua takes classic elements—altar tables, lotus motifs, carved fretwork—and reinterprets them for the new millennium with such adrenaline-laced materials as acrylic and Pakistan green onyx.
