(My Brother) Brandon's Milk Punch
Serves 8–10
-- 1 2/3 cups heavy cream
-- 5 cups milk
-- 3 cups sugar
-- 1 1/2 cups water
-- 3 tablespoons vanilla
-- one fifth of bourbon
-- nutmeg for garnish

Add the sugar and water to a medium-size saucepan to make simple syrup. Bring to a boil and let simmer undisturbed for 2 minutes. Cool before using. Next, combine all other ingredients in a large bowl, adding in 2 cups of the cooled simple syrup. Transfer contents to a pitcher and place in the freezer for up to 6 hours.
