If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, or have been able to travel there recently, you may have been lucky enough to visit the newly remodeled San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art.

SFMOMA’s first reopening anniversary is approaching and if you’ve had the privilege of visiting, you know that walking through Richard Serra’s “Sequence” piece is one of the most impressive installations in the museum.

The massive rusted structure is so much of a favorite of ours that we’re looking for ways to bring that Richard Serra look into our homes with rust-inspired metals throughout. From homes encapsulated in metal, to bathrooms with just a hint, we love how the colors will change over time, revealing a well-earned patina in any part of your home.
