Throughout our home tours and exposure to diverse design takes, we've only been able to find one common thread: there are no rules. There is no set of homes that even abides by one single rule. Of course, we'd hope that keeping a semi-orderly home always prevails as a best practice. But in terms of design, well, there are a lot of myths out there.
