“Summer for me is about enjoying the incredible California weather and hosting family gatherings," shares designer Kelly Wearstler. "When planning a menu, I start with what’s in season and build from there."
"Salads —light, healthy, and full of color —are my favorite summer dish and an easy way to bring fresh, local ingredients to the table. I always aim for dishes to be as beautiful as they are delicious," she says. "Keep salads and other foods fresh on the table by using marble bowls or platters. You can put them in the freezer before serving, and they’ll stay cool for a long time.”
