Crisp, clean and ultimately on-trend, what's not to love about modern design?
"This is great for those who prefer a 'less is more' approach," says McCarthy. "Everything has a purpose in modern design and furniture tends to be smaller in scale, sit lower to the floor and stick to primary colors, natural woods with pops of metallics. Modern design also can have a retro-nostalgia, and can be great for those who are collectors and have a passion for vintage furniture," the designer adds. "We tend to see clients who live in metropolitan cities drawn to the style due to space limitations."
