Least Requested — Scandinavian
Once upon a time, it was virtually impossible to escape the Scandi style code. To say this one dominated would be an understatement. McCarthy says we can thank IKEA for that.
"With materials, we tend to see raw woods, many different shades of white, and live plants and materials," she adds. 'This style has become oversaturated, but Scandi design is so much more than that. It is defined by buying only what you need to create a space that is truly functional to enjoy." Perhaps Scandi, too, is due a revival?
