A Prewar Home Packed With History And High-Style
You know the feeling when you walk into a home and you just know “this is it!”
Well, Louisa Bargeron certainly does. She couldn’t ignore the nostalgic spark and adoration for her current 835 square-foot Washington apartment upon first peeking at it.
“As soon as I walked in I fell in love,” Bargeron tells us. “ The apartment reminded me of a piece of my very own Brooklyn or Harlem brownstone. I was born and raised in New York City, so I have a deep appreciation for Prewear apartments.”
Equipped with charming details like crown molding, high ceilings, a claw-foot tub, and more — Bargeron worked with Residents Understood to amplify these features and hone the abode into the color-soaked space of her (okay, and admittedly our) dreams.
