Go Green
“Greens are an essential,” states Claiborne. “Obviously they aren’t something you can just keep like grains. You need to replace them every week or so."

"Constantly making sure you have green vegetables in your fridge is super important. It’s a great part of your diet but it’s also a base for so many things you’ll make. If I have something gone, I will go that day to get them."

“Fresh herbs are also important,” she adds. “You should really keep plants around to have them on hand. They can add flavor to whatever you’re eating.”
