If you didn’t 'gram it, did it even happen? Love it or hate it, you have to admit social media makes it easier — and honestly, more enticing — to document every facet of your day, from a grueling SoulCycle class to your killer #OOTD. For most Instagrammers, it starts with a morning coffee run, where you snap a picture of fancy latte art or the comically incorrect way the barista spelt your name (trust us, we’ve all been there).

But Felix Roasting Co. is here to change that. Located in the heart of New York City, the new café makes us want to point our cameras away from our java and toward its bold décor.

With a cotton candy color palette and whimsical details at every turn, Felix is a cross between a Wes Anderson movie and Willy Wonka’s Coffee Factory. So it should come as no surprise that the iconically bold interior design Ken Fulk serves as the café’s designer, creative director, and partner.

“From the very beginning, we set out to create a highly aesthetic expression of coffee and design,” Fulk shares. “We referenced classical architecture and the sacred geometry used in cathedrals [to] heighten and romanticize the experience of walking up to the coffee bar.”

There’s nothing we love more than an aesthetically pleasing space, so we’re giving you an inside look at Instagram’s new favorite café.
