After years of living in the Boston neighborhood of Beacon Hill, boutique owner Jessika Goranson and her boyfriend, Mark Lewand chose to relocate when his career called for a temporary, though difficult, move to Manhattan. Despite a long list of must-haves—she required a pet-friendly two-bedroom with a fireplace in a prewar building with an elevator—the couple and their 13-year-old Pomeranian, Ruby, happened upon the perfect apartment, on the Upper East Side within steps of Central Park.
