Use Feathers Instead of Flowers in Your Next Bouquet

With warmer temperatures and blue skies (finally) gracing the skies over New York City, everyone seems to be rushing to the nearest flower bodega to stock up on spring's freshest blooms. While it's impossible not to love a vase of bright hydrangeas or cheery tulips, we're tempted to shake up our tabletops with another of nature's best hits: feathers.

"Feather arranging" is new territory for us, so we're taking notes from some of our archive photos. Au naturale pheasant plumes in a short glass globe, perhaps? Pluck a louder variety into a ceramic urn, perhaps? As is the case with flowers, feather arrangements offer endless possibilities. Who's with us?
