Would you believe it if we told you that bean bags are making a comeback? Yes, you heard right—the form of seating once reserved for basement playrooms and college dorms has taken a turn into potentially chic territory. Exhibit A: this hand-printed woven silk number by Lina Rennell (above). Swapping typical velour or leather for a more artisanal textile, it looks as though it would be right at home in a luxe, bohemian bungalow. Exhibit B is even more shockingly high-brow. Fashion designer Alexander Wang has teamed up with the luxury Italian furniture company Poltrona Frau to create a line of lounge furniture that features, whaddayaknow, a leather-and-shearling take on the bean bag. So, tell us: will this über comfy, often-snubbed piece of casual seating be making its way back into your home, or staying in the attic?
