For prop stylist Kim Ficaro and Todd Nickey, an interior designer and co-owner of LA retail spot Nickey Kehoe, constructing swoon-worthy settings is all in a day's work. To stretch their creative muscles, the two decided to flip the script and take a hands-off approach on a project. They recruited Lonny photographer crush, Ditte Isager, to capture artfully-composed homes of other creatives around the country and compiled it into a new title from Rizzoli.

The Inspired Home: Nests of Creatives opens the doors of 17 unique abodes owned by art directors, musicians, artists, and writers whose creative lifestyles and personalities enhance and influence the spaces in which they live. Says the duo, "Our approach was not to prescribe or champion a particular aesthetic, it was purely about telling a beautiful story about how these people live, and the thoughtful choices they make. We were allowed to let the material breathe on its own; to go into someone's home and find the great shots, just as it is, no styling."
