We tend to think of an “art wall” as a collection of framed artwork clustered together in the middle of an otherwise-blank wall. But, as Elin Nøsen’s Pinterest board “d e c o r + a r t w a l l” proves, this definition doesn’t even begin to cover it.

In scoping out the board’s 322 photos thus far, we’re blown away by the creative yet entirely elevated ideas. There are objects and photographs interspersed in the arrangement, uncommon layouts and spacing, frame-less solutions for hanging art, art-less solutions for hanging empty frames, and ways to layer and lean art that don’t require any hanging at all.
