I recently moved into an apartment with two small dormer windows, rendering my gorgeous custom-made drapery obsolete. What to do? Turn to the pages of Lonny, of course. Designer Michelle Smith's Sag Harbor home immediately sprang to mind once I considered my ideal color palette. Roman shades in a thick stripe sound like just what the design doctor ordered.While the leopard-patterned wallpaper and bold umber stripe above reflect a daring earthiness, it's the muted hues of the guest room below that really get my creative juices flowing.
