3. Keep it Clear
This one's controversial—don't store anything under your bed. On a pragmatic level, you don't want to sleep on "problems" or a reminder of the too-much-stuff you have and the too-little-space that you have. All of traditional Chinese medicine is founded on the fact that energy needs to circulate to be healthy. Since we spend, optimally, about a third of each day in bed, there is a premium on creating a space without stagnation.
