DIY To Try: Modern Wood Bracelet
You’ll never guess what this bracelet is made from.
Hard to believe, but this chic, minimalist cuff, created by Emma of blog Design and Form, was created out of a single plant stick. You could easily use a popsicle stick for the project, too. Talk about trash to treasure. The whole genre of “ things used as other things” is fascinating as-is, but it’s even more impressive when the results are this covetable.
Everything about this DIY is enticing us —we’re even tempted to wear our bracelet just like Emma, paired with a nubby sweater and layered with a barely-there bangle. Forming the bracelet shape is as easy as soaking the wood in water overnight to make it pliable, then using a trick Emma shares on Design and Form to bend it into place, and finally giving it another soak. Sleek and so simple.
