Wear It There: Tibi Goes to Bakeri Brooklyn

Lonny Style Editor Sarah Storms takes our Fashion vs. Function series to the streets. First stop: Greenpoint.

At Lonny, we are perpetually interested in the crossover between home and fashion trends. That symbiotic marriage is behind my weekly Fashion vs. Function column, for which I pair home decor with its runway doppelganger. But it was only when I saw a snapshot of the gorgeous floral walls of Greenpoint, Brooklyn-based Bakeri—dressed in panoramic paper that combines multiple artists' works—that I decided it was time to try the stylish face-offs #IRL.

To kick off our new "#WearItThere" series, my model, Lonny Senior Associate Editor Mackenzie Schmidt, slipped into a ruffled camisole and full skirt by New York-based brand Tibi, which perfectly complements the mural-like wallpaper that wraps the sun-lit Brooklyn space in a bit of theater we're calling decor camo. Like what you see? Check back here for new room-and-runway pairings in the coming weeks, and send us some of your own with the tag #WearItThere.

I'm the former Style Editor at Lonny.
