“My vision for this collection started with a void I found in my own wardrobe” says Serena Dugan, co-founder of cult home brand Serena & Lily. The collection of which she speaks? The San Francisco-based company's foray into fashion, which launched this week. A mix of classic shapes and voluminous styles, the capsule-size selection is redolent of the brand itself: breezy, crisp, and offhandedly elegant. Our favorite looks include a perfectly-cut striped shirt dress with a kicky A-line skirt, a boxy front-pleat white shift, and a loungewear-inspired pair of silk pants emblazoned with polka dots and sailor stripes. Chic obi belts are also on offer to add a subtly exotic edge to the decidedly classic looks—but it's the abundance of spot-on LWDs (that's Little White Dresses) that we'll be stocking up on to take us from spring to summer and beyond.
